Rocky Mountain Archery Ltd. was incorporated under the laws of the Province of Alberta on August 1, 1995.

On August 14, 1995, Rocky Mountain Archery filed a US Patent Application on the Single Modular Cam Compound Bow. On August 14, 1996, a Canadian Patent was filed.

U.S. Patent 5,782,229 was issued on July 21, 1998 and a Canadian Patent 2,183,305 was issued on August 7, 2001.

On March 31 2002, Rocky Mountain Archery filed a US Patent Application on the Turnbuckle Bow Press. US Patent 6.957,647 was issued on October 25, 2005.

Rocky Mountain Archery started marketing the Turnbuckle Bow Press during July of 1994. All of the parts of the Turnbuckle Bow Press are manufactured either in Canada or the United States.

Rocky Mountain Archery is designing other products that will be patented and marketed in the near future.
